چکیده
Many high speed applications employ a surface permanent magnet (PM) machine topology with retaining sleeve due to its robustness and ability achieve overall peripheral speeds as well efficiencies. One often overlooked feature in the mechanical design of such machines, which has not achieved sufficient attention date is anisotropic thermal expansion rare earth magnets, degree varies for different technologies. This paper investigates effects aforementioned on PM spindle NdFeB magnets. The maximum allowable interference found be limited by working temperature magnets while minimum required increased their expansion. Based this, appropriate conditions are formulated integrate Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB) rotors. These modifications considering shaft together included proposed rotor validated using simulations ANSYS environment.

The Pulse-Thermal Processing of ndFeB-Based nanocomposite Magnets
Pulse-thermal processing (PTP) based on high-density plasma arc lamp technology has been utilized to crystallize melt-spun NdFeB-based amorphous ribbons to form magnetic nanocomposites consisting of Nd 2 Fe 14 B and α-Fe phases. After applying suitable pulses, the NdFeB-based ribbons were developed with hard magnetic properties. The highest coercivity can be obtained for ribbons with a thicknes...

The relaxation of the magnetization is calculated for isotropic and anisotropic magnets. For NdFeB magnets, the dependence of Sv on texture, above room temperature, is roughly consistent with the model, while the NdDyFeB magnets show no dependence upon texture.

متن کاملTheory of Thermal Remagnetization of Permanent Magnets
A self-consistent mean-field theory explaining the thermal remagnetization (TR) of polycrystalline permanent magnets is given. The influence of the environment of a grain is treated by an inclusion approximation, relating the field inside the grain to the local field outside by means of an internal demagnetization factor n. For the switching fields and the fluctuations of the local fields aroun...
